Okay. So I wanted to show you this new feature that came out in FreshSales today, which I think is pretty darn cool. And I've already set up a field with it and I want to share with you what it was, where you can get more information and an example of how to use it.
So. What we're doing here. The notification that came in today is formula fields now support the if function.
And if you click on this here, it will take you over to this page. And if you don't have fresh sales, I'm going to put it down in the length so you can get more information. And so let's go back over here. All right.
So in our business, we're a digital agency, so we help companies with their online presence basically, and their digital customer experience.
And so in working with companies and, even before we We engage with them. We come up with two scores. One of them is their digital maturity score, meaning how mature are they digitally, you know, is their SEO good if their social media presence good, is their website good? Are they doing any advertising?
What kind of advertising are they doing? All of that fun staff goes into the digital maturity score. And then there's another score, which is the good advertiser score. And it's based around Facebook because we do most of our stuff on Facebook because of Facebook messenger here in the United States.
So that second one asks a lot of questions about how they're advertising on Facebook. And so those two together make up what we call the DCX score. So. Let's have a look in here, how we can actually use that. And actually, if I go in here to this area here, I'll just take you to the scores. Okay.
Good. Advertisers score. So we have our good advertiser score here, and we have our digital maturity score here, and you'll see there's a DCX score that right now is empty. Okay. And so let's see. What we can do inside of here and how we can set up that if statement. So we're going to go down to the scores here.
This is where we modify our fields. If I can find it. I know, it's coming. There it is. There it is, is down there. Okay, so there's a good advertiser score. There's a maturity score. DCX score. Okay? So we have the function "if", and open the bracket. And in this example, the good advertiser score is equal to zero.
Okay? So that's how one thing that we were coming up with is. How can we create a DCX score if we don't advertise? It's just not gonna work, right? So if we do X score is zero, then the DCX, or rather the good advertiser score is they're out, then the DCX score is equal to the digital maturity score.
Otherwise, it's equal to the good advertisers score added together with the DCX score and then divided by two. All right, so that is how you can use the new if function inside of FreshSales. I hope you will really enjoy it, and if you're curious and you want your own DCX score, I'm going to put a link down below this video as well.
